Introducing the Integrated Magnetic Micro-Mesh Screen: Designed to keep your smallest critters safe, secure, and stylish. Whether you're housing cresties, day geckos, dart frogs, mantises, jumping spiders, or other delicate inhabitants, this ultra-fine mesh keeps them in—and unwanted pests out.
Specifically made for Aqueon 5.5 gallon tanks
Will fit most standard framed aquariums (16.25×8.5×10.5)
*width is important, make sure your tanks frames width is 8.5in OD & 7.75in ID*
Pieces include:
Top vent (x1)
Bottom vent (x1)
Magnetic mesh screen (x2)
Door frame + 3 mm plexiglass pre-assembled (x1)
Hinge Pins (x1)
Locking Pins x(2)
**Will not work with a rimless tank**

🛠️ Aquarium Vent Installation Guide
Materials Needed:
- Aquarium-safe silicone or non-toxic sealant

Step 1: Install Top Vent Piece
- Apply a continuous bead of adhesive along the top rim of the tank.
- Carefully place the top vent piece onto the adhesive, pressing it firmly into position.
Step 2: Install Bottom Vent Piece
- Repeat the same process on the bottom rim of the tank.
- Ensure both top and bottom vent pieces are securely attached and aligned.
Step 3: Attach the Door
- Angle the door so the hinge aligns with the bottom vent pin.
- Gently pop the door into the space between the top and bottom vent pieces. Install the top hinge pin.
Step 4: Curing Time
- Allow the adhesive to air out and cure for 24–48 hours.
- Before introducing any animals, confirm that there are no lingering adhesive odors inside the tank to ensure a safe environment.

The pieces are thick and feel sturdy and the “glass” is crystal clear. The door is very easy to open or remove for access even if the side pieces are siliconed in. The pieces were packed very well for protection during shipping. We had a minor international shipping delay (no fault of the seller) and the seller was very responsive and helpful in providing tracking information. I purchased 2 of these for 5.5 gallon tanks. They fit aqueon tanks perfectly. They are thick plastic and seem very sturdy. There are almost no gaps, to the point where I think they may even keep fruit flies enclosed.
